My girlfriend and I went down to Chung King Road to check out the two galleries that were up. I typically really enjoyed seeing the "bong" inspired pieces. I couldn't believe how expensive these were. Some of those pieces had a marking of $215,000!
When you mentioned the price of these pieces in class, I was shocked. Seeing the piece in the images you shared, I can see how beautiful they are. I probably wouldn't pay $215,000 for the piece but I can see its value.
